| | myself practicing | ] | SXSW: Didn't go as planned Quincy Jones: Was an amazingly inspiring speaker at south by The House: Cleaning it like a mad man Guests: Rubia's Dad will be here tonight New Saxophone: I am loving it and have hit a groove in my playing since the fest ended Saxophone Students: Have been flaky and inconsistent New Compositions and musical ideas: Are developing more and more everyday New Saxophone Reed Methodology: Has improved everything. Finances: Horrible Relationship status: Has been smooth and pleasant since our mid SXSW meltdown. Family: It was great seeing the uncle and the grandparents today, my mom and dad both seem alright |

When I sign on new students, I have them sign a contract that (among other things) states that if they do not give 24 hr. notice, they pay for all missed appt.s
I also offer package deals, so if they miss a class, it's already been paid for and I have a paid day off thnx to their flakiness. This also weeds out the spoiled brats from the serious disciples.
That is a great idea, I need to start writing up a contract! | |
